A: Hey Lee, how’s your brother doing in California?
B: He’s adjusting well to his job as an ultrasound tech. It was a good idea that our parents allowed him to apply to an ultrasound technician school in Bay area for college.
A: So that’s why he went out of state to study college. I never knew that. Are there a lot of sonography schools in California?
B: There are several – 11 to be exact. Four of them can be found near or in the Bay. My brother when to Kaiser Permanente in Richmond. They have a good list of sonography programs available – certificate and bachelor degrees for cardiac and general sonography.
A: That’s really interesting. I’m thinking of taking cardiac sonography in college as well. Can you recommend a good place to research about it?
B: You can try ultrasoundtechniciancenter.org. It’s a website that my brother used a lot when he was still deciding where to go to college.
