A: Hey Marley! Fancy meeting you here.
B: Hello Jake. It’s been a while. How’s your college application going?
A: It’s going pretty well. I’m pretty much set on applying to a school in Indiana.
B: Why so far? Do you have family there?
A: Yes I do. But aside from that, they have four available ultrasound technician schools in Indiana that offer accredited ultrasound tech training.
B: That’s good news. I know some states don’t even have accredited schools available.
A: That’s right. I’m thinking of going to Ivy Tech; they have an associate program in Vascular sonography that I’m really interested in.
B: How’s the salary in Indiana though?
A: A little on the low side – lower than the country’s average – but pretty good compared to other medical technician jobs. On average, sonographers earn $62,920 annually in Indiana.
B: That’s not bad! Hey, where do you get all this information?
A: From ultrasoundtechniciancenter.org. are you in interest in sonography too?
B: My best friend, Carlo, might be. He was asking about it yesterday. Thanks, Jake!
A: No problem, Marley. See you around.
