A: Sam, is ultrasound tech school hard?
B: Why do you ask?
A: I was curious. I always see you studying and I wondered how hard it was to become a sonographer.
B: To be honest, anything health-related is difficult to study. Sonography in particular requires extensive training and studying to make sure that we become the best ultrasound techs possible – especially since we deal directly with people, either sick or healthy.
A: That makes sense. It’s all worth it though. I’ve seen how mom and dad really like their jobs as diagnostic medical sonographers, despite the long hours.
