A: Hey Justine, are you excited for New York?
B: I’m a little anxious but excited all the same. Becoming a sonographer has been my dream for so long.
A: What school are you going to?
B: Sanford Brown Institute in New York City. My aunts have a flat in the city and they’ve invited me to stay over.
A: What programs do Sanford Brown offer?
B: They have two certificate programs, one for cardiac sonography and one for general sonography. I applied for the certificate program in cardiac sonography last semester and I managed to secure a slot.
A: Yes, I remember you received your acceptance letter a few months back. Are there other programs available at Sanford Brown?
B: So far, they only offer the two I mentioned but other schools in New York have programs for vascular, cardiac, and pediatric sonography as well.
A: Cool! I’m graduating next year so I’m looking at all my options too. We had a sonographer visit us for career day last year and it really got me interested in the medical field.
