B: Hello Tina.
A: How’s the school search going?
B: It’s going great. I’m looking at different ultrasound technician schools in GA in 2015.
A: Really? Is Georgia a good place to study sonography?
B: Employment seems really good. While the annual salaries aren’t as good as the nation’s average, the high employment rates seem to make up for it. Almost 1,500 sonographers were employed by mid-2013.
A: Are there a lot of schools offering sonography training in Georgia?
B: Currently I found seven. They can be found in Savannah, Columbus, Rome, Atlanta, Lawrenceville, Statesboro, and Atlanta.
A: They’re really spread out all over the state, aren’t they? My sister actually wants to study sonography – and she’s been mentioning Georgia a lot too. I want to learn more about it too.
B: I found all my information on this website called ultrasoundtechniciancenter.org. It posts a lot of informational articles on diagnostic medical sonography.
