A: I’m excellent. I was just expecting some suggestions on my college applications. My friends have all found out where they want to go and use however I’m still a little lost.
B: I see. Have you at least selected what type of program you wish to obtain?
A: I have. I’m thinking of taking up diagnostic medical sonography this fall however I don’t really know where to begin. My aunt works as a sonographer in Sacramento so I was thinking of applying to a school there.
B: It’s excellent that’s you found out what program you wish to take although, based upon my research, there are currently no accredited programs for sonography in Sacramento.
A: There aren’t?
B: There are a great deal of schools in the city that provide the program but they aren’t CAAHEP-accredited. CAAHEP-accreditation indicates a program is amongst the top in the nation that uses sonography training. If a program is certified, it suggests that program has met the requirements set by CAAHEP.
A: Are they programs in neighboring cities?
While there isn’t any ultrasound tech school in Sacramento, there are an overall of twelve in California. You can use to various programs like basic, cardiac, vascular, and pediatric heart sonography.
