Today’s video is long, however extremely individual and near and dear to my heart. It’s my story of how I ultimately became an ultrasound technologist/ sonographer. Many of you have been asking how I entered into the field and if I enjoy it. Off, I love it! Everyone’s experience will be different. Where you live, what college or program you go to, what high school you participated in, how you study … everybody has a various journey. This is my personal journey and what I went through to get to where I am today. I had my share of battles and confusion, times where I couldn’t make it through a class, and needed to duplicate classes, however I made it. This is a story of life– ups and downs, setbacks and failures. But I wanted to share it due to the fact that if I can do it, so can you. I am somebody who copes overthinking and anxiety. I desire you people to know that it’s possible to accomplish your dreams. Think in yourself as tough as it is and know that if you truly want something you can make it occur.
In this video, I give suggestions on how to study, things you need to understand on how to get into a program, what it’s like to be in ultrasound clinical, and advice/recommendations on other little details. It’s certainly a video you must view the whole duration of so you do not miss out on out on some key things that helped me get through college and eventually my sonography program. I tried to shorten the story as much as I might however I wanted to make sure you people get to hear my experiences, my struggles, and my accomplishments!
