Background: Early medical diagnosis followed by immediate drain is essential in the treatment of iliopsoas abscess. The patient was uneventfully discharged from the health center one month later.Discussion: Ultrasound-guided percutaneous leak of abscesses is less invasive than surgical drainage and CT-guided puncture. Learning points: Percutaneous leak of psoas significant muscle abscess can be carried out under ultrasound-guidance alone by using a method comparable to ultrasound-guided back plexus block.
