The Wastewater Treatment Division of the Metropolitan Sewage System District of Greater Cincinnati recently established a two-tiered predictive maintenance (PdM) program. The two-tiered PdM program has both central and decentralized parts to serve its seven (7) commonly apart plants.
The centralized part consists of a group of predictive upkeep specialists (PdM team), trained and licensed (where certification requirements are established) in at least one predictive technology.
The decentralized component of the PdM program involves regional plant maintenance personnel who receive training and support from members of the PdM team.
Eric Stevens, the Manager of Upkeep(ACM/Reliability Services) for MSD of Greater Cincinnati answers questions about their PdM program and how they use TANGO ™ to help meet their PDM program objectives.
