Acute Pain Medication is the initially extensive, case-based text of its kind that explores the necessary topics of severe pain medicine, including interventional, pharmacologic, and diagnostic considerations. Written and modified under the auspices of the American Academy of Discomfort Medication by members of the Academy’s Shared Interest Group for Acute Pain Medicine, the text consists of an intro to severe pain medicine and an easily referenced interventional section.
