JOB SUMMARY

The Ultrasound Technologist PRN, under general guidance of a Radiologist, performs ultrasound procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other certified service provider for the medical diagnosis of illness and injury in accordance with recognized protocols.

Acquires, confirms and keeps all pertinent documentation such as requisition/chart, patient history, pregnancy status and shielding precautions taken, consent kinds, policies and procedures, and so on

Keeps medical imaging records in proper system and according to department policies and standards for analysis in a timely manner.

– EDUCATION – Grad of an Accredited Program

– MAJOR – Sonography

– MAJOR – Sonography

– EXPERIENCE – Less than 1 Year of Experience

– CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION –

Fundamental Life Assistance (BLS): BLS is needed.
