In today’s special video, I talk to a diagnostic medical sonographer: Lea, RDMS, OB/GYN. She is a new grad who tells her story on how she came across sonography and what she didn’t expect from the sonography program. She has no medical background whatsoever AND landed a job in an OB/GYN clinic right after graduation! She is here to show you that anything is possible if you put your mind to it, if you work hard, and you never give up. This field isn’t necessarily about “what you know” but rather “WHO you know.” So definitely sit back, relax, grab a snack, and tune in for this conversation because it’s one you don’t want to miss. You will learn about the difficulties of being a student, she answers your questions about if she’s confident in scanning pregnant women and obstetric exams, and much much more.
